1. Acceptance of Terms & Mission

By creating an account, registering a student, logging in with guest credentials, or provisioning a church portal on Ethio Wisdom School (ጥበበ ኢትዮጵያ) (referred to herein as “the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“User,” “Parent,” “Guardian,” “Teacher,” or “Parish Admin”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our software or educational services.

Our mission is to provide rigorous, faith-aligned Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Christian education—including Holy Scripture, Ge'ez language, Amharic literacy, liturgical tradition, and certified K–12 academic curricula—for diaspora youth, families, and Sunday Schools globally.

2. User Roles & Account Security

The Platform provides distinct, role-based access portals:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and 6-digit access PINs. Notify us immediately at support@ethiowisdom.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Protection of Minor Students (COPPA Compliance)

Because our curriculum serves children from Kindergarten through Grade 12, protecting minor privacy is paramount:

• Children under 13 may only access the Platform with verifiable consent from their parent, legal guardian, or authorized parish school administrator.
• We do not collect unnecessary personal information from children. Student profiles require only first name, grade level, and section.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade student records or learning telemetry to any third party or marketing network.
• Parents retain the absolute right to inspect, edit, or request deletion of their student's account and performance records at any time.

5. Intellectual Property & Ecclesiastical Curricula

All text, pedagogical syllabi, Ge'ez language software drills, interactive quiz formats, audio mezmur recordings, graphical layout, and software code on the Platform are the intellectual property of Ethio Wisdom School (ጥበበ ኢትዮጵያ) and its theological licensors.

Users and parishes are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, project, and print instructional resources solely for personal, family, or Sunday School educational instruction. Commercial redistribution or unauthorized resale of our books and multimedia is strictly prohibited.

6. Code of Conduct & Classroom Decorum

All participants—including students, parents, and educators—are expected to uphold Christian virtue, kindness, and respectful behavior in all interactions across discussion boards, assignment submissions, and virtual classrooms. Bullying, harassment, profane language, doctrinal disruption, or unauthorized advertising will result in immediate suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The software and materials are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and continuous software refinement, Ethio Wisdom School is not liable for temporary service interruptions, network latency, or third-party telecommunication failures beyond our reasonable control.
